Born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1856 to German immigrant parents, Henry Vogt's entrepreneurial spirit ignited in 1880 when he opened a small machine shop. His vision expanded in 1885 with the addition of a boiler shop and foundry, where he pioneered the revolutionary Absorption Refrigeration and Ice Making Machine.

The demand for reliable valves to support Vogt's growing refrigeration and boiler businesses led to the birth of Vogt Valves in the late 1890s. The company quickly gained a reputation for exceptional quality, propelling it into mass production of forged steel valves for the burgeoning petroleum industry. For over a century, Vogt has remained at the forefront of valve manufacturing, offering a comprehensive range of gate, globe, angle, and check valves tailored to diverse industry needs.
A New Chapter
In 2017, Vogt joined the OMB Group, marking a new era of growth and expansion. State-of-the-art manufacturing facilities were established in Stafford, Texas, and Milan, Italy, solidifying Vogt's position as a global leader in forged steel valves.
